Many pieces are hand-finished with embroidered detailing, unusal crafted buttons or vintage-style trimmings. Signature designs include 1920s style, drop-waisted, 'wash' frocks and glamorous; softly tailored 1940s style belted, dresses; tiered skirts, peasant style pants and silk camisoles. SULA's stylish garments are designed to be worn wrapped, tied and layered to create an entirely personal look, which flatters and individualises the feminine body. NEW to the label is a capsule collection of edgy evening dresses that can be dressed up or down. They include jersey bias cuts that glide over the body with sheer banded silk hems; empire line pleated silks and shorter draped garments.
